Just wanted to let you know I added a couple new artists to my links page in the "buddies" section.  I worked with Howard Lyon at Cinematix and Professor Fog's.  He's an amazing texture artist and painter.  Dustin Dobson is currently taking offers for new gigs.

I'm working on actually adding some of my drawings to the 2d section soon, so stay tuned...

Whew!  A lot of time with no updates.  Been keeping busy with work and moving (again, sigh) and so haven't had time to keep the website up.  I'll try to have more frequent updates in the future.

To make up for it...here's a new animation.  It's a test I did to get the job at Realm Interactive.  I had a day to rig the character and animate a walk cycle for a model they sent me.  Since I had a little time left over I decided to "jazz up" the presentation a little bit (looking back at it now, I probably should have used that time to fix up the arms and legs a bit). Enjoy...

You can view it on YouTube.

New animations!!!!!
(Okay so they're actually old ones you've never seen before.)

Broke the Animation page of my website into sections.  One for my spare time animations, one for Wizmo's Workshop animations and the last for my Revenant animations.  Added 5 "new" animations I did for Wizmo's Workshop.  They should be great new additions to the Stupidvideos.com webpage as I think all my other Wizmo animations have been featured on that website.

Good times...

Well, finally got the website back up to the point is was before I moved.  All the animation links should be fixed and working now.  I'll try to get some more animations up and going in the coming days as I've got a little extra bandwidth, so check back later.

Oh, and just to keep an old joke running, the 2D Images section is still being worked on.

Welcome and thanks for visiting!!!

Wow, been really busy lately with work, first time I've even looked at my website in a couple months.  Feels soooo good to be employed again.  We are in the final stretch of the game Whiplash and it will be out before Christmas.  Also been becoming a Maya user these past few months, so I've now had to learn what gimble lock is and how to deal with it.  At least by learning new software I feel like I've learned a whole lot more about the computer animation process and set up though.

You may have noticed that a lot of my video clips are offline.  The problem is I've run out of webspace.  My current ISP only gives me 25 megs to work with.  If anyone knows of some good, preferably free webspace hosting somewhere shoot me an email.

And speaking of email, sorry to all of you who have taken the time to send me some awesome emails.  My typing skills aren't all that (I'm more a hunt and peck typist) so it takes me a long time to type replies for them, and time is one thing I don't have right now.  I do read all the letters and they do help me to keep me inspired on those days when I feel I have no skills and should look for a new line of work.  I'll do my best to try and respond, but no guarantees.

One Year Anniversary!!!

Alright so it's a couple weeks late but I've been pretty busy lately.  Anyways to celebrate I thought I would post a new version of an old animation.  For a while now people have been asking for an better quality version of the VW transformer, so here it is.  A near DVD quality version of the VW to celebrate it's one year on the web.

 MPG ~4.7Megs

This is I version I did for my demo tape and it's slightly different from the original.  It's a huge 4.7 megs, so it's not as 56k friendly as the old 1.5 Meg one but it is much better resolution.  It also has new sound done by the amazing Tim Benson at Rainbow, so turn your speakers up really loud (especially if you have subwoofers).

Hmmmm....it seems traffic at my website has picked up lately, I wonder if it could have anything to do with this..

Holy cow, a new Transformer movie! AMAZING!!!

And just to answer the emails I've been getting lately, no I'm not working on the film (see June 13), but I'd like to think I helped inspire it in some little way.  I'm just a fan like the rest of you, here's to hoping the film actually gets the green light and made.
